Medication adherence is a critical component in the management of mental health conditions, yet caregivers often face significant challenges in ensuring compliance. Through qualitative in-depth interviews with family caregivers of individuals diagnosed with mental illness, this research examines their personal experiences, struggles, and coping strategies in fostering medication adherence. The findings reveal that caregivers experience emotional, physical, and psychological burdens, often feeling overwhelmed by the responsibility of managing treatment regimens. Despite these challenges, many caregivers demonstrate resilience and develop adaptive strategies to support their loved ones. The study highlights the need for more targeted interventions and support systems to alleviate caregiver stress and improve medication adherence. By understanding the caregiver's perspective, healthcare professionals can better tailor interventions to enhance adherence and overall mental health outcomes.
Abdul Gani, Yeni Elviani Copyright (c) 2025 Abdul Gani, Yeni Elviani https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 http://www.rumahprof.com/index.php/CHIPROF/article/view/134 Fri, 10 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0000 A Comprehensive Review of Risk Factors for Sexual Violence, Bullying, and Drug Abuse in College Students http://www.rumahprof.com/index.php/CHIPROF/article/view/129
Sexual violence, bullying, and drug abuse are social problems frequently experienced by students in higher education. The risk factors for these three problems are diverse, involving interacting psychosocial, environmental, and personal aspects. This article aims to provide a comprehensive review of the factors contributing to the increased risk of sexual violence, bullying, and drug abuse among college students. Using a literature review approach, this study compiled and analyzed relevant previous research findings from psychological, sociological, and public health perspectives. The findings indicate that factors such as academic pressure, domestic violence, mental health disorders, and the dynamics of social relationships on campus are key triggers. Furthermore, existing social norms in the campus environment, such as patriarchal culture and a lack of awareness of the importance of mental health, contribute to these conditions. This study also identifies the importance of preventative measures through sex education, student empowerment, and support from mental health and social services on campus. In conclusion, the risk factors for sexual violence, bullying, and drug abuse among college students are multidimensional, requiring a holistic, community-based approach to addressing them.
Dientyah Nur Anggina, Ratih Pratiwi, Luqyana Azzahra, Dewi Fortuna Copyright (c) 2025 Dientyah Nur Anggina, Ratih Pratiwi, Luqyana Azzahra, Dewi Fortuna https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 http://www.rumahprof.com/index.php/CHIPROF/article/view/129 Sat, 27 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Family Centered Maternity Care and Healthy Home Cadres: Review Collaborative Role in Reduce Pregnancy Risk http://www.rumahprof.com/index.php/CHIPROF/article/view/132
This review explored the collaborative roles of Family Centered Maternity Care (FCMC) and health cadres in reducing maternal risk during pregnancy. High-risk pregnancies remain a key concern contributing to maternal and infant mortality, especially in low-resource settings. FCMC has emerged as an approach that empowers families to actively participate in maternal care, while trained community health cadres facilitate early detection and health education. This paper reviewed recent studies that examined how collaboration between families, cadres, and health systems enhances antenatal care adherence, risk mitigation, and maternal well-being. Evidence shows that integrating digital tools, structured family support, and interprofessional teamwork can significantly reduce complications and improve preparedness for childbirth. It concludes that strengthening cadre-family collaboration is a critical strategy in maternal health interventions.
Marlinda Marlinda, Yeti Septiasari, Talisa Rahmawati, Dea Oktavioni Copyright (c) 2025 Marlinda Marlinda, Yeti Septiasari, Talisa Rahmawati, Dea Oktavioni https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 http://www.rumahprof.com/index.php/CHIPROF/article/view/132 Thu, 02 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Mainstreaming Eco-Theology: Practices and Challenges of Environmental Activism in Islamic Student Organizations in Indonesia http://www.rumahprof.com/index.php/CHIPROF/article/view/120
The environmental crisis presents a multidimensional challenge that is not only ecological but also moral and spiritual. In the context of Indonesia, Islamic student organizations hold strategic potential to play a role in environmental advocacy based on Islamic values. This study aims to examine the practice of eco-theological based environmental activism among Islamic student organizations, using a case study of the Indonesian Muslim Student Action Union (Kesatuan Aksi Mahasiswa Muslim Indonesia/KAMMI). Data were collected through interviews, observations, literature reviews, and document analysis of environmental programs carried out by the organization. The results show that although environmental issues have yet to become a priority agenda, there are several initiatives by KAMMI contributing to environmental preservation. The study found that the main challenges in mainstreaming eco-theology are the lack of Islamic-based environmental literacy and the dominance of socio-political issues in student movements. These findings recommend the integration of eco-theological content into the organization's cadre training curriculum and the strengthening of networks with environmental communities.
Muhammad Naufan Rizqullah, Ery Erman, Muhamad Ridwan Afandi, Jafar Arifin, Ahmad Nur Sidik, Nisa Ulrifa Copyright (c) 2025 Muhammad Naufan Rizqullah, Ery Erman, Muhamad Ridwan Afandi, Jafar Arifin, Ahmad Nur Sidik, Nisa Ulrifa https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 http://www.rumahprof.com/index.php/CHIPROF/article/view/120 Sun, 31 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0000
